BPW Geelong - 'Making a Difference' Mentoring Program

Come along to our February networking event and learn more about BPW Geelong's 'Making a Difference' Mentoring Program, and help our 2016 graduating mentees, Say Mu, Eh K'Paw and Mutheinchri celebrate their special night.

Schedule for the night:
5.30pm - 6.50pm - Networking
6.50pm - 7.00pm - Welcome
7.00pm - 7.30pm - Dinner
7.30pm - 8.00pm - Mentoring presentation
8.00pm - 8.30pm - Dessert and networking

Since its inception in 1999, over 50 girls from diverse backgrounds have graduated from our Mentoring Program. Our 2016 graduates are from North Geelong Secondary College and moved to Geelong seven years ago from refugee camps on the Thai/Burma boarder. In that short period of time, they have learnt English, completed their secondary schooling, gained employment and embraced their new life in Geelong and the opportunities that have come their way.

We invite you to attend this very special event, network with like-minded people and learn more about our Mentoring Program and our graduates' stories.
The event will also be raising funds to help BPW Geelong provide even more development opportunities for our current mentees over the coming year. There will be some great silent auction items up for grabs, as well as raffles and door prizes. Please email us if you would like to donate a prize.

Tickets can be purchased until 5.00pm, Wednesday 1 February 2017.
