BPW Geelong - More walking. Less talking

Find out how Glenyce Johnson turned her mantra into a successful venture.

In 2013, Glenyce completed the Camino de Santiago walk in Spain, fulfilling a life-long ambition whilst raising funds for charity. The 800km Camino Pilgrimage influenced her mantra to…’More Walking, less working’

A year later, she co-founded Wandering the World - an agency specialising in bespoke travel experiences drawing from her wide knowledge of some of the most beautiful and untamed global destinations.

The former Peregrin Adventures Managing Director has whetted her own appetite for adventure by exploring all seven continents and over 100 countries from crossing the Sahara Desert to visiting Antarctica and the High Artic.

She has combined her love for travel with a commitment to helping others as the chair of Marie Stopes International and a mentor in the TIME Travel Industry Mentoring Experience. Her awards are many and varied including being a Telstra Woman of the Year finalist in 2006.

BPW is delighted to be able to celebrate International Women's Day 2015 and its theme Make It Happen by hosting a presentation from a very successful woman who truly has made it happen.
