BPW Geelong - women supporting women

Financial success looks different for everyone. Like an outfit, what works for one may not fit another.

You have a stylist for your individual look and a personal trainer for your health, but your financial goals don't always get the same attention.
Find out how you can tailor your financial image and have it fitting you, like the perfect pair of shoes.
Join us for lunch at Geelong's waterfront restaurant, Fishermen's Pier - ticket price includes lunch and a glass of wine or soft drink.

This events recognises Equal Pay Day 2016.

Equal Pay Day marks the number of extra days a woman may need to work to receive the same pay as the average man.
Events are held around Australia and the world to raise awareness of this on-going issue.

Please wear red to show your support.

According to the Australian government’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA), women earn 24% less than men (full-time total remuneration). This equates to women being paid $27,254 less than men for the same work.

The WGEA estimates that women need to work more than 65 extra days a year just to earn the same as men. And statistics show this gap has widened in recent years and is more pronounced as women climb the corporate ladder.
