Facebook Marketing Advanced

An extension from Facebook Marketing Basics, the Masterclass delves deeper into understanding how consumers use Facebook – and how businesses can interact, engage and drive them to “conversion”.   We look at key strategies that can be used by tourism-based businesses.

We explore how businesses can develop ‘socially optimised content’ that will perform on Facebook and then finish the Masterclass with an introduction into Facebook Advertising and some powerful advertising functionality/ features.

We’ll share:

  • How powerful Facebook (as a marketing machine) is
  • Key strategies they can adopt into their social media marketing, that will get better results
  • The process of moving consumers from engagement to conversion through Facebook
  • How to create killer content – that will work on Facebook
  • How to get started on Facebook Advertising

It is strongly recommended (not essential) that business have done the Facebook Marketing Masterclass as a prerequisite for this session.

The presenter: With more than 10 years of experience working in all facets of hotel and tourism marketing, Mel Stewart has developed a serious thing for tourism, social and digital marketing.  Born and bred in regional Victoria, Mel is super passionate about promoting regional destinations (and products) as the exciting, enriching and authentic experiences that they are.

Mel has actively marketed iconic Australian destinations including the awe-inspiring Ayers Rock (Uluru), the Great Ocean Road and has been fortunate to work with amazing tourism operators both big and small.

She is a curious thinker whose sleep is literally interrupted with the thoughts of how our industry can push the boundaries and do better regional tourism marketing collaboratively.
